AbstractThis project is mainly focused on how the company OGO AB can organize its warehouse so that they can store painted articles.The warehouse should include how many pallets it is needed for the paint shop. Our purpose is also to calculate the space that is needed for the new warehouse.It is important for OGO AB to know witch kind of trucks they need for the new warehouse that with be located between the production factory and the paint shop so that the transportation of article goes smoothly..

This examination paper is a lead in the educational program Industrial Management at Jönköping University. The paper itself contains an analysis of the warehouse organisation and its efficiency at the furniture company Voice AB in Torsvik, just south of Jönköping, Sweden. The report also contains propositions to raise the level of efficiency in the company warehouse and warehouse management.In the investigation of the warehouse a number of possible improvements were found. KSL Trading Inc is a trading company in the Jönkoping area that distributesmaterial for the furniture and interior design industry.The purpose of this report is to analyze the existing material flow andWarehouse layout as well as to identify the issues there are today at KSL?swarehouse for board material. When we identified what kind of problems thatexisted we were able to design a new plan for the material flow and storagepossibilities. The problems we found where:? There is no well-organised Warehouse layout? There are no routines to keep the warehouse clean and in order? There is no formed plan how to handle materialTo solve these problems we have used different methods like interviews,observations, calculations and literature studies.

Data Warehouse är dock ett nytt fenomen som på flera sätt skiljer sig från traditionella informationssystem. Denna uppsats syftar till att utforska vilka faktorer som är viktiga för användartillfredsställelse med Data Warehouse samt att diskutera kring dessa faktorers betydelse. För att kunna göra detta har en flerfallsstudie med fem användare utförts.

Vid sifferseriell aritmetik används ett antal parallella bitar för varje siffra. För att jämföra prestanda och effektförbrukning i förhållande till antalet bitar behövde Institutionen för systemteknik (ISY) en layout-generator för att enkelt kunna generera layout för en sifferseriell tvåportsadaptor. Layouten skulle göras i 0.18 mikrometer process. Antalet inkommande databitar och antalet koefficientbitar skulle vara variabelt. Stor vikt lades vid planeringen av layouten för att genereringen av adaptorn skulle fungera smidigt oberoende av de variabla parametrarna.

AbstractNowadays, companies and organizations manage large amounts of data to be used as support in decision making. A good solution for data management is in the form of data warehouses. A data warehouse is used to gather information from multiple sources within a company and arrange the information in a way that makes it easy to retrieve and analyze. Designing a data warehouse is not a simple task. The study herein will focus on what a data warehouse is and how the ETL process is used for data storage in the data warehouse. ETL stands for Extract, Transform and Load and is the process that retrieves data, transforms it and finally loads it into the data warehouse.
